It’s good to be sore.
Sure, it might mean you wobble up the stairs or you need a friend to get out of a chair.
But it also means you worked really hard.
The sore arms that don’t let you fully extend to reach anything in the cupboards means you really did find that 1 rep max strict press.
The sore hammies which ache to reach over your bicycle confirms you really sprinted as fast as you could.
The sore thighs that refuse to support you as you try to sit down show you really did crush those wallballs.
The good sore sucks, but it tells you something very important – that you are progressing, that you’re on the right path.
Keep it up, keep looking for that good sore.
