Ball Slam basic description – Elevating a weighted ball from ground to overhead followed by forcibly throwing the ball back to the ground
Performing the Ball Slam
- Feet are shoulder width apart, toes slight turned out
- Slam ball is overhead with arms extended
- Mid-section tight
- Throw the ball to the ground and catch it in a full squat before it is allowed to bounce a second time
- Stand up with the ball and bring it back to the overhead position for the next repetition
